The start of the project
HYDRO-CON Elevator was contacted last year by Mathias and his study group who wanted to make a project about us as a company:
"We are a group of students from the Copenhagen School of Machinery. We are working on how the specific company handles work environment, safety, quality, maintenance and the environment.
The purpose of this project is ultimately to be able to implement or propose any improvement. This must be based on either a real problem or an imaginary problem based on the conditions that apply to the company. "
- Mathias Højmark, student at the Copenhagen School of Machinery.
Involvement of the students
Of course we chose to accept the offer from the students and were very excited and proud that they had wanted to choose us to throw their energy over. For HYDRO-CON Elevator it means a lot to involve us in education and training for new generations, whether it is directly within the industry or just within machine design and technology in general.
Relevant topics
As the students started the project, it quickly became clear that there were both breadth and simultaneous immersion in the topics they wrote about. Topics such as machine maintenance, occupational accidents, APV, environmental management, system and improvements, security policies and management, as well as corruption were some of the areas the project affected. Topics that are not only critical but also important and which many employees of HYDRO-CON Elevator handle and work on a daily basis.
A good experience - for both parties
Mathias and the study group benefited from HYDRO-CON Elevator with practical examples and dialog that could be involved directly in the study project and end with a good and successful experience of the project. But not only for the students, it was a good and educational process. New eyes and approaches are some of the driving forces of HYDRO-CON Elevator's development all the time, and here we appreciate critical issues and new and different approaches to the way of doing things.
