Back stairway elevator

BACK STAIR ELEVATORS

Elevator in the back- or kitchen stairway area

An elevator can be installed as a replacement for a back or kitchen staircase In many existing apartments buildings and properties. If you have a rear staircase area of at least 980mm or above, an elevator solution can be installed. If you choose to use the backstair area, the existing backstairs are removed and replaced by a built-in elevator which is installed in its own self-supporting shaft and therefore does not burden the existing construction of the building. As a starting point, the repos are preserved so that each floor has its own small entrance platform, if the space does not allow it, direct access from elevator to apartment can be made. Removing the rear staircase requires extra fire protection on the main staircase to maintain a high level of safety. This is usually done by installing sprinkler systems and fireproofing the doors in the front door, the doors from the rear stair elevator are also fire proofed.

The rear stair lift does not change or only minimally changes the exterior appearance of the building. In addition, it can be installed to run between all floors from basement to roof. HYDRO-CON has the market's best cabin space optimization in relation to shaft size, the elevator is available in many sizes and with many customization options.
