Tandstangslift til personer med handicap | HYDRO-CON A/SRack lift for people with a handicap

A rack lift consists of a platform that can be raised and lowered using a rack drive system mounted in the side of either the shaft or mounted directly on the wall. An example of a rack is seen in the picture to the left.

The rack drive system is a robust vertical lifting solution. This elevator lift type is used for vertical transport of for example pedestrian and wheelchair users. Also it is a more stable drive system than a spindle lift especially at the high lift heights.

Vertical handicap rack lift

HC400PVT (HYDRO-CON 400kg Person Vertical Racklift) is a special rack lift product designed to be placed next to smaller stairs, as an alternative, for people with disabilities, walking difficulties, and wheelchair users. In addition, the lift can also reduce the need for many manual lifts, between floors, as it is suitable for passenger and freight transport. HYDRO-CON develops and manufactures its own products, and has been doing so for more than 35 years. Therefore, our rack lifts are available with or without a shaft, and with a full or half shaft on the upper floor, they are also suitable for indoor as well as outdoor placement.

The lift is very sturdy and has a very reliable drive system. This lift can withstand very hard handling. When the lift is working, the engine and drive system can be heard, as this gives off a slight rumble.

Speed and operation

HYDRO-CON's racking products are operated by guide rails which are mounted inside a shaft or directly on a supporting wall. It runs at a maximum speed of 0.15 meters per second, with a maximum load of 400 kg, and up to a maximum height of 15 meters. As a general rule, we recommend only using a rack lift if it is because you want a half shaft / open shaft at the upper level.

Operation of the lift is carried out by the continuous push of a button, also known as dead man's operation, or holding pressure. However, it is sometimes possible to use ordinary pulse pressure, as you know it from a traditional elevator. There are calls from the floors outside of the lift, which can be installed in many different ways, as well as a side panel inside for operation. Furthermore, there is a drop-down list at the door so that the lift stops and no one can be injured.

Full or half shaft installation

The HC400PVT can be produced and installed with or without a shaft, and with a full or half shaft on the top floor. The shaft is designed to stand in a pit or directly on the floor and can lift / lower people or goods vertically. The lift is suitable for connecting all levels, both full and half storey levels, as the lift can be built up with a passage, and can be placed both inside and outside. For outdoor placement, the shaft is anodized, for indoor placement it is powder coated. The shaft can also be adapted as a full or half shaft on the upper floor. However, we recommend a full shaft, or a roof covering when outdoors.

The rack lift is delivered together as an all-in-one solution with platform, shaft and machinery in one.

The top two are outdoors, a half shaft and a full shaft solution. The next two are indoor half shaft solutions.
