HYDRO-CON A / S has an ambitious goal of being the largest and preferred supplier of tailor-made elevators, lifts and special products in the Nordic region within the next 5 years, led by Jens Kofoed, who has been appointed new CEO of HYDRO-CON, backed by a newly formed professional board.
So far, the company has been managed by the owners Frants and Ulrik Oldenburg, the former founded the company in 1988 and the latter his son, took over the primary ownership and management at the turn of the millennium until now. Frants and Ulrik remain active in the company, and will continue to work with strategy, the board and development tasks in the future.
New CEO with solid experience
HYDRO-CON strengthens its management with a highly experienced director who, together with the company's owners and board of directors, has ambitious plans for continued growth and progress in the market for elevators and lifts, both within and outside the country's borders.
Jens most recently came from a position as CEO of Jönsson Consulting and has previously held similar director positions in both HC Container and BMW on Amager and in Brøndby.
Jens replaces the majority owner of the company, Ulrik Oldenburg, who in the future with the title of COO will concentrate on operational tasks, bidding, consultancy and guidance of customers as well as development of the company's self-produced products.
Jens and Ulrik will together form the day-to-day management of the company.
The company's founder, Frants Oldenburg, will continue to be associated with the company in the future with a number of consulting jobs, so that both management and employees will be able to draw on his more than 30 years of experience with elevators, lifts and special constructions.
New board member adds business experience
In addition to the changes in the day-to-day management, HYDRO-CON has also chosen to involve external forces, expand and strengthen the board's competencies:
Former state authorized auditor and partner in PWC, now independent with SP-Konsulenterne ApS, Søren Petersen, has with effect per. same date joined the board of directors of the company. From now on, the Board of Directors will consist of Ulrik Oldenburg as chairman, the company's founders, Frants Oldenburg and Søren Petersen as a member.
The expansion of management and the board of directors, which will now be a combination of highly experienced industry professionals and highly experienced business people, Hydro-Con sees as a necessity in order to be able to maintain and expand the company's dominant role in the market.
HYDRO-CON ELEVATOR A / S produces and installs a selection of elevators and lifts for indoor and outdoor use. As Denmark's only manufacturer, we have the opportunity to adapt our products to our customers' specifications and the other architectural conditions. We only produce and install our own high quality products, and are also traded through other suppliers.
